In the same spirit as the famous Royal Henley Regatta, the San Diego Crew Classic Brunch offers guests a luxurious tented location in which to watch the boats cross the finish line while savoring a delicious gourmet brunch and drinks.
More than 300 friends, family, alumni groups, reunion crews, colleagues, clients, teams, clubs and fans will join in this beloved Crew Classic tradition. Athletes in rowing blazers and ladies in hats add to the event’s festive atmosphere. We hope you join us for this very special day!

This weekend at the San Diego Crew Classic, athletes, families and friends will have the chance to participate in USRowing’s “#BeAChamp Challenge,” our own version of “The Amazing Race.” Teammates and friends will be able to pair up to solve clues, perform challenges, have fun and win prizes. The Challenge begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and continues until 4:00 p.m. so that anyone who wants to participate, despite race schedules, can.

3:04 p.m. U.S. men’s four and Canadian men’s four race the world champion four-man kayak team from the Czech Republic in a 500-meter dash event.

Ginny Gilder, the stroke seat in the 1984 Womens Quad+ that took Silver, author of Course Correction, and serial Entrepreneur, will be attending the Crew Classic and speaking for a few minutes following the conclusion of the coach/coxswains meeting at the Crews to College event. We are very pleased to have Ginny joining us this year.
