Parking Costs

You may park in nearby lots for $10, but plan to arrive early, as parking is scarce close to Crown Point. Some street parking is available. We do offer a free shuttle. (See below.)

FREE SHUTTLE

Park for free at Ski Beach and take the free shuttle courtesy of our sponsor Goldfield Stage. It will take you right to the main gate. See the Directions section for maps showing Ski Beach.  Shuttles start at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and make their last trip about 45 minutes after racing ends.

Schedule and Results

For a schedule of the races showing which boats are in which lanes, click on “Schedule” at the left which includes a link for you to request updates sent to your cell phone.

Food

Concessions will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Breakfast items and great lunch choices including what you would expect like burgers, salads, and wraps plus some great unexpected ones from Hunters Steakhouse featuring tri-tip sandwich, Fisherman's Market and their fresh sashimi skewers and swordfish tacos, Jamba Juice smoothies, and Desert Coffee Trader offering specialty coffees. 

And, new this year, the Crew Classic & Hamiltons Craft Beer Garden serving ten local brews on tap.  Click here for all the details.

What to Bring

Bring sunscreen, a hat, a jacket, and a beach chair or blanket to sit on the sand, or the grass to watch the racing.  Bring an ID if you with to visit the Beer Garden. Cash although there is an ATM. Entry is $7 per person, under 13 are free.  Bring your binoculars, your friends, and your club, school, and team spirit to cheer for the athletes.

What to Leave at Home

Your dogs, because by City ordinance they are not allowed in the park grounds or in parking lots, alcohol, as there is a beach-wide alcohol ban (although we are permitted to sell beer and wine at this special event), your bicycles because they are not allowed inside the fence (although you may chain it to the fence), your pop-up tents, as those aren’t permitted inside the fenced venue as well.  For details, see Park Rules

How to Find Everything

Here is a map of Crown Point Shores showing where things are.  It is the main staging area.  The crews park their boats on the grass at the north end, in lettered areas.  After participant names on this list, is the letter which corresponds to the letters on the map to help you find that crew.

Video/DVDs

A Jumbotron will show live video of races start to finish. DVDs of each race are available for sale  in advance and after the event, and on site in the Crew Classic Merchandise Tent one hour after that race ends.

ATM

ATM machines are on site for your convenience.  One is located in the Crew Classic merchandise tent.  Another ATM can be found adjacent to the Information tent.
